Main Compiz developer Sam Spilsbury has left Canonical. In a new blog post, he said that it is becoming difficult for him to allot reasonable time to both work and University studies at the same time.
University has gotten a lot more intense lately, but the reality is that its my future and I want to finish this degree.

I have a done very few posts since I am with OpenSuse 11.1.
I have upgraded to Gnome 2.6 and use compiz-fusion from X11:XGL repo.
For a while (I don't know how long), I don't see the expo, applicaiton ring/cover switcher,etc...
Other plugins work with no problem.
As you can see, I have installed all packages necessary:
