latest update block tether/torrents???

http://androidforums.com – I havent tried to to tether w/ the stock tether app or download torrents with utorrent (both of which worked 100% on my phone) since before the update. Now I tried last night since my friends internet was out and I can tether but can only load facebook and crap, although active torrents already on the list begin seeding right away. I tried wifi tether and barnacle, neither worked. I also tried downloading the torrents right on my phone using utorrent and it no longer works. The only option now to setup a user agent? (General)

Can anyone help me figure out why my rooted s3 tmo (t999) is still sending data back when I run torrents or heavy tether....not serious large amount going back....~25mb from over 30gb of torrents but trying to completely stop feedback....

Im on the 55 plan, im guessing metro blocked me(my girls phone, I have the esteem) the built in tether app no longer works, "wifi tether" isn't either an not even barnacle..... Any ideas?

Hey guys, it took me 3 days to figure out how to bypass the three tether block... I tried everything... VPN only tether seemed to have worked but I got banned straight away... Three and any other ISP get only ur user agent info, so if u go to whatsmyuseragent.com u will see what three or any other ISP see, so when u tether iPad or anything else the user agent is seen as iPad or etc...

I have been struggling to resolve an issue that has been bugging me since i got my phone. I am trying to successfully tether 4g lte to my iPad at decent speeds. When i use my stock wifi tether, i get 0.14 mbps- 0.55mbps. When i use wireless tether for root users i can get about 1.0-2.5 max. When i tether my laptop, i can get up to 27 mbps.

Now, when I say WiFi tether, I don't mean using my phone as a hotspot to let people use my data. I want to be able to tether my wifi connection.

Hello all,

I'm running Harmonia 'light' that did not come with Wifi Tether pre-installed. I need to tether for a few hours on Friday. I work from home and we are getting Comcast installed in a two-hour window. Without connectivity I will have to take the time off, which I don't want to do.:D

I installed Wifi Tether but on connecting to my laptop I have 'limited connectivity'.

So I managed to install clockworkmod, and rooted by stock rom with superadmin. I installed Wifi Tether for root phones, it works perfectly. I ran across some issues though. There is something strange happening.

For some reason, when I tether my phone's Internet it works fine for a moment or a long time and then it switches to limited connectivity. No Internet connection on any of the connected devices, even if I reset the connection. Only restarting my phone seems to work. Using stock Android 4.0.4 and the stock tether.

Has anybody else experienced this? Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.
