Hi All,This is my first post, with this I like to introduce my self as Linux beginner. But I have lot of interest in Linux. I have tried many flavour of Linux, including Ubuntu, Fedora, CentOS, Debian. They are good but I like very lightweight and mostly includes everything. Finally I installed CrunchBang and on first impression only I started to enjoy it.

Hi all, I am a new user to crunchbang. I was using Bodhi linux and linuxmint until now. Impressed by crunchbang on some reviews and finally installed the crunchbang stable with backport as my only operating system.So far so good.
Testing crunchbang for a month or so.I am a complete beginner in all matters linux but have (quick-)tested some distributions like ubuntu, l.mint, debian, fedora, etc. and must say that crunchbang is the only one where I don't get the impression of a bloated system or a clumsy, non-ergonomic enviroment. Strangely it has more or less nothing I need to remove...
Brian Manderville has announced a couple of hours ago, April 28, that the 4th release of his Descent|OS Linux operating system is now available for download. Unfortunately, the developer is attending the Linux Fest NorthWest and there’s no clear information about what’s new in Descent|OS 4.0.
