Whenever my laptop is on battery power, my wireless mouse seems to freeze intermittently for 3-4 seconds after every 10-20 seconds of use. Meanwhile my touchpad works completely fine.
Both the Touchpad and the Mouse work very well when my laptop is plugged in to AC Power.
Any idea what the problem might be? I've tested the mouse on windows and it works great on both AC and DC power.
Hi.
I'm trying to connect wireless bluetooth mouse Trust MI-5700Rp to my notebook Acer Aspire 3935, Ubuntu 9.10
After just 2 seconds of inactivity mouse fall asleep, and to wake it up I need 20 (!) seconds of mouse movements. It's impossible to work. Could someone tell me what should I configure to make my mouse works properly?
I bought a Logitech M235 mouse. This works perfectly under Windows.Basically, it works on Ubuntu and is identified as M305.
This problem only occurs when the laptop is running on battery power:
When I don't use the mouse longer than 5 seconds, it does not works for a few seconds. How can I stop this?
I have Samsung NP360E5A-A07PL laptop with ELAN Smart-Pad (ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad, according to gpointing-device-settings), and a Logitech M195 wireless mouse (with an USB receiver). On Linux (LUbuntu 12.04 LTS) the wireless mouse stops working from time to time (quite frequently, perhaps every few minutes) for maybe one second.
Disabling touchpad (via gpointing-device-setting) didn't help.
Hi all,I'm running the latest crunchbang testing (64-bit Waldorf) on my desktop, and am having trouble with my mouse cursor randomly locking up. System is otherwise running fine, the keyboard continues to work and I can continue to move the mouse using xkbset -m. But, the mouse does nothing once it decides to poop out. I'm using a logitech MK300 wireless KB and mouse combo.
I bought a wireless mouse on ebay (Optical RF 2.4GHz Wireless Mouse with RF USB Receiver) but it won't work on my Dell PC running Ubuntu 11.04 (Lubuntu).
I tested the mouse on Windows and it works fine.
When I re-checked the item description it says the mouse is for Windows, no mention of Linux.
Is there any way to get this mouse working on my PC?
This is the exact mouse I bought: http://cgi.
((Yes. this is another wireless mouse-thread. I see several threads on issues with wireless mice, but when it comes to RF (Radio) mice it's mostly on glitches and tweaks. I only see threads on BT not working at all. So, this is one about a non-BT mouse that is not working at all.))
Slackware 12.x, xorg.conf, fvwm95, generic 3-button scrollmice, both known to be working. USB ports work for various other USB devices -- card readers, portable drives, etc.
I can't get behind my machine to disconnect my ps2 mouse (long story -- ps2 mouse was removed once, but USB mouse still didn't work), but I'd like to add a (wireless, if possible, but not necessary) USB mouse.
I recently purchased a new Toshiba laptop and a Logitech M510 cordless
mouse. I am running Mint 13 on the laptop.
Initially (at least once) the mouse worked fine. Then it ceased to work.
I've seached around on various fora and found reports of similar problems
and various suggested solutions.
