I am hating unity and decided to change to KDE. Is there a way to export my Firefox favorites to Konkeror.
I gave Konkeror a try and really enjoyed it!...

IE use C:\Users\Jhon\Favorites to store favorites of user named John. If other browsers use this folder in a similar manner, my favorites are sync across all installed browsers and there is no need for additional software.
What happen was I downloaded the Wubi Ubuntu on my windows computer. The next thing you know my computer wont boot up. What I did was (with amazing help on this forum) Burn a CD (create Disk Image), boot from it, get to the desktop by 'Try Ubuntu'.
Everything is there except my firefox favorites. For 99.9 percent of people favorites mean nothing. But to me they were SUPER important.
I just recently installed Ubuntu 12.4 and have a couple questions about the version of Firefox that comes with this version of Linux. I use Firefox with windows as well and on that version I have a favorites icon right next to the home icon, on this version I don't see a favorites icon anywhere, only way I can see to get to favorites is through the menu at the top of the page.
So in Windows 7 there is a Favorites folder to easily reference various folders and locations on a computer. However I can't seem to find a way to export that information. Every google search I try with the terms windows explorer and export all refer to IE favorites. I've also looked under the user and appdata folder, but cant find anything pertaining to windows explorer favorites.
I just installed kubuntu-desktop over Unity and Firefox now looks ugly in Unity. It seems to use oxygen-gtk theme in Unity and I don't particularly like it especially when most other applications look perfectly normal.
I also removed kubuntu-firefox-installer package and that doesn't help.

Do you know how to make Firefox look normal in Unity?
I'm using the RSS News plasmoid and usually have Firefox open anyway. When I click on an RSS item it opens in Firefox as it should but I also get a Konqueror tab in the Task Manager and a bouncing Konqueror cursor, though Konqueror itself never opens. I have made Firefox my default application for http in Personal Settings, is there another place where Konqueror might linger as a default browser?
