[kubuntu] Cannot delete file dur to suspicious ownerships

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi, after fsck I got the problem that I cannot delete the file /usr/bin/boincmgr due to suspicious ownerships. Does anyone have any idea regarding what could be the problem here, i.e. why do I get "Permission denied"?

I want to enable directory indexing in "/var/www/html/" [dont want to use index.html or something else htm or php file , just want to show all files and folders when browsing http://localhost ] security risk but i damn care about it.

hello there,im currently running fedora 12 as a server but i have 1 weird problem :| im loosing packets out of nowhere at send and receive doesn't matter what i loose packets...

--- google.ro ping statistics --- 12 packets transmitted, 7 received, 41% packet loss, time 11598ms

can anyone help me with tips to trace what's causing this?? thank you

A quick overview: I have a script that will daily backup my source code repository from SVN into a tarball for that day. I have tested the script and it works very well as long as I run it as sudo, because of ownership of the output directory.

So the issue is that I want to run this daily, so I put a link to it in the /etc/cron.daily directory.

I have Oracle Linux 5.7. It was hanged, so I rebooted it and now it came into maintenance mode and asking for root password. After password, it is at Code: (Repair filesystem) 10 # I am not sure, where to go from here. All file-systems are in vg.
