Hello everyone, I want to make some themes for the Motion, but I am more used to Gingerbread as far as theming goes. Could someone tell me how different Gingerbread SystemUI and Framework-res is to ICS? As in battery icons, etc, etc.

I have installed the "Gnome Shell Theming extension", i have enabled it in the "gnome tweak tool", I have installed asome themes in my ~/.themes folder, still i cannot select any shell-theme. How can I enable and select Gnome Shell Themes in 11.10?
So I started creating a theme last night, upon testing I noticed I wasn't receiving popups on the screen from texts. They show up on the status bar, but they don't popup on the screen. The settings in messaging app has a check in the box for notification popup but it's not working. Does theming systemui or framework break this?
Would you like to learn to theme GRUB2? Now, when I say theme GRUB2, I don't mean to simply add a wallpaper and change the text's colors. I'm talking about adding graphics, different fonts, scrollbar, progress bar etc. Check out the link below.
Interested? Well it's all explained in my latest tutorial 'The Definitive Guide to Theming GRUB2'.
