[kubuntu] 12.10 Citrix receiver issues

http://ubuntuforums.org – Just upgraded from Kubuntu 12.04 to Kubuntu 12.10 (32 bit install) and I am having a problem using the Citrix receiver. When I launch a .ica file from firefox it shows the file download like normal and something flashes in the taskbar quickly and nothing happens after that. The one time I did get an error is was something about ksmserver not running, but I can't consistently replicate that error. I have unistalled/purged the ica client and libmotif and reinstalled both. The KDE desktop seems to be running fine and I have seen no other errors. I set the Citrix client to launch in windo (Hardware)

I got to login, it logs in, then it says This version of Citrix XenApp web plugin does not support application or session roaming, called Workspace Control. To use this feature, install the latest version of the plugin.

I have ubuntu 11.10 in which i had installed citrix receiver,on the same next to ubuntu machine there is windows 7 machine in which citrix(URL) is working fine.

But not working on ubuntu 11.10,

I want to know how to trace where the problem eg: (network,port on Linux).

All expert please help me.

I have installed Citrix Receiver 12.1.0.203066 on 3.5.0-2.fc17.x86_64. When I start my Windows client I get the window and all looks nice except that my soundcard is not detected.

It says "no sound driver installed".

We're using an ERP application (SAP R/3) with a client that is deployed via Citrix. For some use cases, I'd like to execute a local program on the client (for example to acquire some still images from a locally connected USB webcam) and then process the files.

I have been unable to get authentication to work using SID instead of username/password credentials. I have following the Citrix Web Interface SDK documentation and made sure SID enumeration was turned on. Is there something that I am missing?

Here is the code, slightly modified from the tutorial Forms .NET code. The only change is that I am using SimpleSIDToken.
