I love AOKP but I wanted to try out some new kernels. I have tried Taimat and Aerovan's kernels. Whenever I flash them on my phone, my device slows to a crawl and the kernel version in setting remains the same. Could someone please help me fix this problem? Oh, by the way, if you have any kernel suggestions for the Droid Incredible 2 with AOKP, please post them. Thanks!
Based on our existing work, we (djmatt604 & kasper_h) have joined forces to bring you the AOKP experience Infamous-style!
This ROM is based on the AOKP jellybean 4.2 sources
To this we added:
-The pershoot device & vendor trees, adapted to our needs
-Our own kernel (based on pershoot's p4 kernel with a large range of additions)
-Some CM/AOKP cherries
-A unique set of homemade pat
Currently on JB AOKP and want to try out Universe Rom. Do I just flash EL26 CWM kernel, boot to recovery, wipe all, then flash rom?

I am new to this forum.I have rooted my SGSII & install ICS 4.0.4.Then i installed aokp jelly bean, slimTW 5 jelly bean & now i am using slim thunderTW5.while installing slim thunderTW5, as per instruction i first flash slim thunderTW5 rom, then google application & siyah kernel.

I've been trying for the longest to port AOKP to Galaxy tab 7 plus, and so far I have gotten nowhere. The devs in our forums aren't interested in porting AOKP to our device. But there is a fully functional cm9 build working. I'm mainly trying to port AOKP for its customization options "RomControl" so is there a way to at least bring the romcontrol menu to a working cm9 rom?
