Hi,
Since I installed KDE SC4.5, Kontact refuses to switch language.
Even though, in KDE system settings, I set the following languages in order of preference en_gb / fr / en_us, when I go in Kontact/Help/swith language, I only have the possibility to have en_us, en_us, and en_us (yes, 3 times).
Of course, other applications do work as expected (at least I tried with dolphin).

2-3 years back, Kontact was not an app that I would use. Now I see things got changed and that it has very huge set of tools and things. I must explore them.
However, I'd like to know can it be made to be in "sync" with my other computer over some web service or whatever?
The Qt Blog covers topics relevant to Qt developers relating to innovative developments and applications using the latest Qt technology. They have noticed the ongoing development of Kontact Mobile from the KDE community by KDAB, and partners Intevation and g10code. I'm trying to use Akonadi to sync kontact with my google kalendar on opensuse 11.3.
I've installed the akonadi-googledata and libgcal0 packages from KDE:Extras and followed these instructions: stealthcopter.com » Setting up google calendar with Kontact (or korganiser) using akonadi
The problem is that the Akonadi Google Calendar resource keeps saying I've entered an invalid password.

Those were the days when there wasn't much but the Palm and his loyal companion KPilot ...

Hello
I normally use Konqueror, but am trying Firefox. How do I change default application from Evolution to Kontact/Kmail? I have gone to preferences applications mailto, but am not sure how I point to Kontact/Kmail. I am obviously pointing it in the wrong direction. Could somebody please give me directions?
Thanks
