As per this announcement yesterday:MariaDB 10.0 enters [extra]MariaDB was upgraded and required running mysql_upgradeHowever mysql_upgrade does not cover Akonadi, which uses per user mysql databases for its data. Here are steps I did to upgrade each user's mysql akonadi database: (just incase it helps)Note:Replace "userid" below with actual useridDB upgrade may not really be required
When I send emails they are <sent> (ie they arrive at their destination) but never leave the outbox or get moved to the sentmail folder. Exactly how or when this started I don't know but it is rather annoying.
Has anyone had this issue? Tonight, when I started KMail I got a crash of the Akonadi maildir resource agent. Everything was fine in the morning, I didn't change anything or mess about, just a normal session. The crash report will go away if I close it 5 times or so.
Since I am a heavy KMail user, and the newer versions of KMail2 do not fit my needs, ie: they use akonadi, nepo|baloo or what ever its nom du jour is, and thanks but NO THANKS on any of them. I gut those suckers every time.
What was the last release 11.10? or 11.04 which had the normal KMail in the release?
Akonadi server fails to start on Kubuntu 12.04 amd64 when I try to start KMail and home is in AFS. First I thougt that the folders ~/.config/akonadi and ~/.local/share/akonadi might need to be outside of AFS so I moved them to the local hard drive and added symbolic links, but the problem is still the same.
In KMail if i go to any other folder besides inbox (say sent items) selecting any message on the left panel does not work. KMail shows "retrieving folder..." on the preview pane indefinitely.I found what the problem is and how to fix it.Generally it is an akonadi problem.
