Kernel Upgrade Problems

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I am using Fedora 10 and yesterday my system did a kernel upgrade. It upgraded to kernel 2.6.27.37-170.2.104.fc10.i686. The previous version is 2.6.27.35-170.2.94.fc10.i686. When I boot to the updated kernel everything loads up fine until after I login. Once I login my screen flashes and then turns white and stays that way. I have let it set for over 10 minutes several different times, with the same result. My previous kernel works fine without any issues so obviously, I have been booting that one. Its really not that big of deal since the previous version works fine but I was just wondering what would cause this, and what could be some possible solutions to the problem. One more thing on a side note, earlier that same day, the update manager wanted me to do a system update to Fedora 11, and I declined it. Should I upgrade to Fedora 11 since its a newer version or just keep 10? (HowTos)
