Have you enabled the thumbnailer(s) in dolphin? You can also check if kdemultimedia-mplayerthumbs works for you.

Oh, I see. I thought the OP just wanted to change the default terminal emulator used by Dolphin not the terminal part in Dolphin.

I went from 11.1 GNOME to 11.2 KDE, and I noticed now that if I load an audio CD and open it in Dolphin, Dolphin does "stuff" with the contents: I see directories for Ogg files, for example.
Now, this looks like a cool feature, but how do I control the ripping process (bit rate, file names, etc.)? I can't find any settings in Dolphin that deals with this?
How are you installing nautilus, dolphin, and xmonad? How are you starting them?

In case you haven't tried already, try some other media player than what you are using. If it still doesn't work, take a look at the pulseaudio wiki page, starting with:https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pu … _crackling

Hi,sorry for my poor english.I'm on kde and systemd, with konqueror I can work quietly on my time capsule connected to the wifi network,i've installed kdenetwork-filesharing,gvfs-afp and samba. But with dolphin i'cant see the resource .....
Rebooted in graphical mode with login via KDM.
Well, to help along the way, I found this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sy … er_boot.3FThat worked exactly as described. Now, though, the interface isn't failing anymore, so I can't diagnose what was happening in the first place, haha.Speculation still welcome. I don't much prefer to simply let a problem "disappear" without knowing what it was.
