So far these problems with KDE and non-working suspend have always been fixed for me by a simple reboot.
Try turning off USB autosuspend. There are several ways to do this, but one method is (as root):echo -1 >/sys/module/usbcore/parameters/autosuspend
for i in /sys/bus/usb/devices/*/power/autosuspend; do echo -1 > $i; doneYou have to do this each time you reboot.
@ttouch: Please do test suspend functionality with the latest ck build v3.10.1-2. If you are no longer experiencing any problems I'll start a new thread.I can still easily reproduce the failed suspend problem on ck-kernel v3.10.1-2.
There is no fix as far as I know. This might be this issue https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=157263The brightness can still be controllable when you add this parameter. I prefer this way, tapping once at the bightness keys isn't so hard after suspend.
