http://androidforums.com – I built a long-range WiFi antenna to tap into the multitude of Free WiFi hot-spots around my home. By "Free" I mean our public libraries and other local business establishments that freely allow the use of their WiFi. It works like gang busters with hot-spots several miles away as long as my line of sight isn't blocked. I can even connect to the public library in the next city over if a Big-Rig-Semi doesn't roll by and block the signal.
