After flashing PAC rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1957299) I've started experiencing some problems on my phone.
At seemingly random times when I am using the phone the screen flickers a bit then goes black and dies. When I try to power it up again it shows the battery as having something like 1% left and the phone usually dies again pretty fast.
I have an issue with my battery. Sometimes it starts to drain the battery VERY fast, like 80% in 20 minutes, then the battery dies and the phone turns off. But if I turn it on it starts with the ammount of battery it was before the crazy descharging, and the phone works as usual.
It is a pain in the ass because every night it happens, so I cannot set an alarm.
Hi all, after spending a few months with the SGS3, I have some tips that I hope will help other owners or new buyers. (I'm sure many of these have been covered in other threads, but hopefully it will be helpful to see them all-together):
For your battery:
- Turn off wi-fi unless you intend on using it.
Been Atrix 2's user for 5 months.
For some reason my battery is draining incredibly fast. I thought maybe I'd installed something that was eating it so I re-flashed and didn't let it auto-restore. That hasn't helped.
I also noticed that the phone feels hot.
I thought it would be a good idea to start a new thread.
I purchased an extended battery, a Motorola branded BP7X for a Droid 2 phone. It's rated at 3.7 volts/1820 mAh. I tested it with a volt-ohm meter and got a reading of 4.2 volts.
When I install the battery in the phone and connect the charger (phone is off), the charging graphic shows the battery is fully charged.
