Ubuntu has enjoyed fantastic success over the past few years, becoming one of the dominant Linux distributions, and the distribution of choice for netbooks. Jono Bacon's job is to make sure that that success continues, by keeping the huge Ubuntu developer community happy and productive.

Openrespect.org is founded by Ubuntu Linux community manager Jono Bacon, as a way to encourage mutual respect across Linux distributions. Apparently though that mutual respect didn't fully extend to Red Hat's community Fedora Linux distribution. And now Bacon is admitting that he 'screwed-up'.

Ormai giunto a conclusione il tanto discusso Ubuntu Developer Summit – con non poche novità, delle quali abbiamo parlato in precedenza – il team guidato da Mark Shuttleworth ha dato conferma ad alcune voci sullo sviluppo di Precise Pangolin.
Il kernel di default per questa LTS sarà il prossimo Linux 3.2, il cui rilascio porta diverse novità.
