I faced below issue.
I have two windows 2008 servers, which left domain for a long time.
So I try to re-join it to previous domain.
One servers could re-join successful, but another one faced that: The following error occurred attempting to join the domain "my.domain"; Logon Failure: The target account name is incorrect.
I'm sure I use the right account, but still can't join to domain.

Hi guys,I'm trying to join a samba domain with my XP client but xp client says "domain can't be join". I see UDP packets from client to pdc and other way. my pdc is ready and listen to connection with an ldap backend. I use smbldap-tools and they are configure such as nsswitch.conf. Someone can help me for this? any suggestions is appreciated.

I have a win2k server server2000.zagames.zag.com.au as a PDC and I've added a SoGo ZEG appliance (ver 2.0.0b5) to the LAN. When I try to join the SoGo samba4 server to the domain I get errors. Do I need to provision the SoGo machine before joining or set a machine password or what?
I have a Windows Server 2008 inside Hyper-V.
My host OS is a Domain Controller.
I can ping my network from the guest OS, but I can't join the domain. It gives a DNS error:

Could anyone help ?
