Finally Samsung started rolling out the Jelly Bean update for the tab2 10.1 but here's the thing. My sis, who has the exact same model, did get an update to Jelly Bean (4.1.2) and I didn't. She had a slightly newer version of Android (4.0.4) than me (4.0.3) but I thought the update would cover ALL tab 2 10.1s so what's the deal? Am I screwed out of an update or just not patient enough?
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and my bf has the 7.0 version but he already got the Jelly Bean update. I already tried the manual update in the settings screen but it said 'no update available'. What gives? I thought the Jelly Bean update was already rolled out for both models.
The Jelly Bean update for the HTC One X seen on Taiwanese devices last month is starting to make its way around the world. The update has been confirmed for unlocked CID_038 and CID_044 devices in India, Argentina, Russia, Dominican Republic, Peru, Brazil, Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom.
A few days ago I saw that Samsung began releasing Jelly bean for galaxy tab 2, which is lower than our PLUS hardware, will also receive? here in Brazil have not received neither my ICS yet. I hope samsun not forget our tablet.
It seems like only yesterday that the top of the line Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone was released. A timing problem existed with the release as the Galaxy S III came out close to the same time Google released Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. This meant the devices were initially delivered with Ice Cream Sandwich.
