As Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is taken up by more and more manufacturers on their new smartphones hitting the market in the near future, Samsung is in a bit of tight spot in trying to get their best-selling Samsung Galaxy S III updated to Jelly Bean.
Back in July, we reported that we should all expect Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to hit the Samsung Galaxy S III sometime in Q4. It looks like Samsung is very well on that track as a leaked version of a TouchWiz based Jelly Bean ROM (XADLG4) has been spotted running on a Galaxy S III (i9300).
Samsung is now updating its Galaxy Note 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 2 tablets with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and new stylus functions through Samsung Premium Suite.
The update is for the Wi-Fi versions of the devices and finally brings Samsung's tablets current with Jelly Bean, after the company slowly rolled out Android 4.1 to its phones in the fall.

Samsung has already begun to roll out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates for international Galaxy S III owners (Spain, France, Austria, and Romania have recently joined the Jelly Bean party), but what about all the GSIII owners locked into contracts with Verizon, AT&T, and the like? Well, the Korean electronics giant has announced that it plans to begin releasing the update in the U.S.
In addition to the utter joy of the Jelly Bean update getting out to select Galaxy S III owners, Samsung has announced its latest roadmap highlighting which additional devices are slated for that buttery goodness.
Via their Open Source Release Center, Samsung has posted new updates to make open source files available for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, and AT&T Galaxy Note II devices. The listings indicate these are files for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on these devices.

I am not sure if this topic has already been covered in another part of this forum, I apologize if it has been and if I missed it.
