Jelly Bean on Galaxy Tab 7.0?

http://androidforums.com – I have the original galaxy tab 7.0, the one that came with 2.2 Froyo officially from samsung. I was wondering if it is possible to custom install (since I don't think samsung supports it) jelly bean 4.1. Can it be done? Or if it is not what is the most recent android version, I can custom install? I apologize if this question has been asked before. I searched on the forums here as well as google and couldn't find anything about this being possible/impossible. All the information I did find was for the galaxy tab 2 or 7.0 plus both of which I do not have. (General)

I have an ATT version of Samsung Galaxy S3, and really would like to root the phone to upgrade to Jelly Bean.

As Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is taken up by more and more manufacturers on their new smartphones hitting the market in the near future, Samsung is in a bit of tight spot in trying to get their best-selling Samsung Galaxy S III updated to Jelly Bean.

Samsung is now updating its Galaxy Note 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 2 tablets with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and new stylus functions through Samsung Premium Suite. The update is for the Wi-Fi versions of the devices and finally brings Samsung's tablets current with Jelly Bean, after the company slowly rolled out Android 4.1 to its phones in the fall.

  Back in July, we reported that we should all expect Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to hit the Samsung Galaxy S III sometime in Q4. It looks like Samsung is very well on that track as a leaked version of a TouchWiz based Jelly Bean ROM (XADLG4) has been spotted running on a Galaxy S III (i9300).

Did a bit of a search, couldn't find anything like this for the Samsung Galaxy S3... question is simple - what is your favourite ROM for the Galaxy S3, and why?

Until some of the recent Jelly Bean ROMs from Samsung have leaked, my favourite has been Cyanogenmod 10 nightlies.

Samsung Galaxy S III owners rejoice.  It looks like Samsung is making good on that promise of an October timeline of rolling out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the Galaxy S III, and even a little earlier for some. Samsung has officially rolled out the update for the international Galaxy S III (GT-i9300) in Poland, available through Samsung Kies initially.
