Time for the news that owners of the DROID RAZR HD and MAXX HD have been waiting for: Jelly Bean has been approved for those devices and will begin rolling out in phases beginning next week per news straight from Verizon:
Friday, Nov. 30: DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD by Motorola are the next smartphones to be upgraded to Android 4.1, Jelly Bean.
I'm running ICS on my RAZR Maxx and wanted to consult with all of the knowledgeable people here on xda about whether or not I should flash CM10 Jelly Bean on it or if I should just stick to the stock ICS.
I am running Jelly Bean on my nexus 7 and its so smooth and quick that I really want the same experience on the Razr but I am worried it won't be as smooth if I dont wait for an o
Anybody knows or heard a word about Jelly Bean to be released officially from Samsung to the Galaxy Reverb???
Before the release some websites claimed that this phone will get a official Jelly Bean update but didn't hear anything about it since!
So if anybody heard anything please post it here!
At Verizon Wireless, only the Galaxy Nexus runs Jelly Bean. Eight other phones ship with ICS: Motorola's Droid Razr M, Droid 4 and Droid Razr Maxx; Samsung's Galaxy S III and Galaxy Stellar; HTC's Rezound and Droid Incredible 4G LTE; LG's Intuition; and the Pantech Marauder. Verizon says it will ship Jelly Bean for the Razr M by the end of the year and, later, for the Galaxy S III.
Background: Previous phone was a Droid 2 Global. I never liked the camera. Slow response, flash wouldn't always synch with shutter, first shot after activating camera would typically be underlit, low light shots were unimpressive to terrible. In a word: inconsistent.
I was apprehensive about getting a new phone with a lousy camera.
