As how we are inputting a text file (.txt) from a specific directory if i need to input an .apk file in eclipse means what will be the java code. please help me with the java code .
Just installed Eclipse 3.7.1 on my xubuntu 12.04. I used to have eclipse installed on my 10.04. You could choose new java project, java source files etc. but this version doesn't have these options. If i make a .java file, it's just plane text, no highlighting and no chance to compile. I have installed eclipse-jdt.
I looked https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EclipseIDE this manual.
Im trying to read a text file from the raw folder in res using final Scanner input = new Scanner(new File(R.raw.xmlsource)).useDelimiter("[\\;]+"); but it isn't reading because of the resource id being int in R.java file, my code is below
Error on new Scanner(new File(R.raw.xmlsource)) is The constructor File(int) is undefined
This is quite a beginner question. I recently started Python in my computer science class and decided to start practicing using Python before we go into the detail. I have installed PyDev into Eclipse because I have used Eclipse previously for Android and Java programming. I have created a module inside of a python projected and have run it but I do not know how to do any inputs.
Both Eclipse and Netbeans have good debuggers. However there are times when you just want to test a snippet of code outside of your project. Two methods come to mind the Eclipse's Jpage format and BeanShell the app. With Eclipse you can File > New > Other > Startpage to create an Independent Scrapbook Jpage..
I just started with Amazon web services, and I have an EC2 instance. I downloaded the JAVA SDK and the Eclipse toolbox. I am able to run a sample program locally on my PC and connect to the Amazon databases, etc. My question is, what do I need to do to get this working on my EC2 instance? This may not even be specific to AWS. On Eclipse, I can just "Run as Application" and run any code.
