I was writing a program on my laptop to run on my server in Java. However, my laptop has java 7 running, my server java 6. This messed up. I tried to upgrade my server by installing openjdk-7-jre and openjdk-7-jdk packages. This didn't work. So I followed a guide helping me removing all java assosiated files and than re-install the needed packages. Something went wrong here..
I was able to invoke Java from within Java on Windows from (java.home)/bin/java. But I tried the same code on a Mac, and it didn't work. I presume it wouldn't work on Linux either. What file within java.home do I need to invoke to launch java on Mac and Linux?
I'm new to Ubuntu and I thought that Java would be a good thing have. So I tried installing it. (Using Terminal). Then "java -version" worked so I thought I'd better try Minecraft (cracked). It didn't work. Grr.
I have a problem with my app that uses the android api v2 in that it won't start it only keeps saying that "Unfortunately, app_name has stopped working.", I have followed every step in the guide released by google and I have also looked up similar problems here in StackOverflow and tried there solution but none seems to work unfortunately.
