Recently Google Chrome has quit working on my KF using Jandycane. Its chrome version 18.0.1025308. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I already reinstalled chrome but it did not help

I was using "Kindle Fire Utility v0.9.9" with option "3" (install latest TWRP Recovery). I was following a tutorial, but it might have been for a different fireware and version of the utility.
After this it got stuck on the "kindle fire" screen, now nothing recognizes it.
Hello. I installed jandycane like 6 months ago on my kindle fire which I rooted and then installed jandycane.
Like I said - awesome and works great.
Over the weekend, any app that I have which is refreshed to fetch latest updates no longer works -
for example, my mail for hotmail and gmail i get error message stating cannot connect to mail server. my flipboard will not refresh.
The Kindle Fire 2 is now a part of the 7" Kindle Fire HD forum.
In terms of software, the Kindle Fire 2 is much closer to the 7" Kindle Fire HD than the original Kindle Fire. The two are similarly equipped with locked bootloaders, run ICS and share the same rooting method. Consequently, the KF2 has now been made a part of this 7" KF HD forum.
HBO GO works but screen dims when playing a movie does anyone running this rom notice it. I know that it should stay awake while watching a movie. Is their a fix

Last night, i was using the Kindle Fire First Aide to restore my kindle fire hd to 7.2.3. After it downloaded the files, it failed on one when flashing. All was fine though. I rebooted back to normal mode and it booted fine, i was using the Kinology rom. I then factory resetted my kindle and after rebooting, it now bootloops all the time.
My question now is.
I had been rooted, with TWRP recovery, and CM7, and Gapps.
Wanted to go back to stock. Brought up Kindle fire utility, downloaded stock update, transferred to fire via usb, used TWRP to flash stock update.
Vola, back to stock kindle fire. Re-rooted with Kindle fire utility, and then my mistake, I flashed the CM7 Gapps into stock kindle.
Got stuck on "touch me android screen".
As the description by Amazon, the model is KFTT for Kindle Fire 7 HD.
KFHD or KFTT, is best name???

Ive rooted a few phones and tablets before and have never bricked a device (got close) until now. This kindle fire i believe is truly hard bricked. What happened was, I rooted it with the kindle fire utility, and when it rebooted it was stuck on the kindle fire logo screen. I let it run flat over night, and the next day it was still stuck.
