Today after regular system updates I received a following message when I opened a flash required webpage in Firefox "install latest version of adobe flash plugin"
I went to the software centre. It was showing as already installed. So I reinstalled it.

Been having problems with flash, and I really need some help.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall in yast
no luck. uninistalled again.
I downloaded and installed Adobe Flash 10 rpm direct from adobe.
I shut down firefox and then restarted...went to youtube....
no luck. I get the annoying error:
I was checking the Adobe web site to see if I had the latest version. As I was looking at
http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
I see the message that
Flash Player 11.2 is the last supported Flash Player version for Linux. Adobe will continue to provide security updates.
There are versions 11.4 for Mac and windows.
Is Adobe trying to force us to go back to windows?
Adobe's Flash download page is displaying a message:

What is the plans for Flash support in the future?
With a bit of luck HTML5 media support will drop website developer's dependency on Flash.
I am using firefox 11.0 in ubuntu 12.04 64 bit OS and trying to play youtube video and it ask to install adobe flash player but when I try to install through the ubuntu software centre but I cannot find in the list by typing flash or adobe.
Ok so I was messing around on a pr0n site (Yes I do that) and I was told to get adobe flash player and I noticed adobe Updated there flash player directly on the market on October 8, 2012 .
Only thing is you must follow this link to obtain the update because flash was removed from the search function in play store.

Youtube says I need Adobe Flash player and that I should get the latest version of Flash player from Adobe. However, when I click on the link, the Adobe site ask me what version of Player do I want: YUM, TAR or RPM.
isn't apt-get the correct command to do this via the command line?

I found a lot of threads covering Adobe Flash but nothing has solved my issue.
I tried viewing Youtube with Chromium and got the error that Adobe Flash was not installed. So I installed Flash as suggested via Synaptic Package Manager.
