I have been searching for this a bit on Google, and there are also some topics on StackOverFlow but they don't answer the main question: Why sometimes, under GCC on LINUX (and I mean Linux since on MinGW it doesn't happen with the SAME code), an application compiles and links correctly with other libraries, without any errors and then, on execution time, undefined symbols are thrown?
Why wasn't t
I have a certain a project consiting multiple *.cpp files which i compile using g++.
I changed on source file to add some code. Built the project again . Just to check i did
diff -s origbinaryfile changedbinaryfile
It showed me that files are identical, which was strange as I have added a extra code and was hoping to see a difference in the generated linux binaries.
The only version of the Baseband that I was able to get to work with CM10 is the version C baseband, that is why it is flashed during the CM10 install.
Version C Baseband works somewhat with the RIL Libraries and Binaries that are in 985hPaKicK CM10, but on our ROM the 4G does not work
I am not sure where 985hPaKicK got his RIL files from, but I do not think they are from the Optimus LTE 2, they
Hi guys,
I'm trying to install java, and what I thought you do is just to extract the binaries/files from the .tar , and move it to the binaries folder in /usr/bin .I've scoured the forums and have found this similar post to the problem I'm having: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1724227.
When I do #java -version, I get " java: error while loading shared libraries: libjli.so:
When trying to sync two paths (one of which is remote) via ssh, unison fails with
Fatal error: Internal error: New archives are not identical.
while syncing via a network mount works just fine.
While unison -debug all yields no indication on the possible error, having it use ssh -v causes a lot of
channel 0: bad ext data
errors.
I was interested in trying out the PixelLight 3D engine, but found that it was not available in the repos or AUR, so I decided to try and create a PKGBUILD for it. As this is my first PKGBUILD, It's not exactly ready for prime time.
I'm interested in building my own wi-fi driver for a Nexus S (broadcom), but I cannot find the source code for it on android source, I see only the binaries. Is the source code available? or google offers only the binaries?

I have downloaded the source for an embedded Linux system but no tool chain. I want/need a tool chain to rebuild the system image. Can anyone point me to a 'How to' for building the environment?
Thanks for you time.
