I'm a very basic Ubuntu 11.10 user and I'm trying to stream music on a Logitech wireless speaker adapter for bluetooth audio devices.
I can get to pair the device with my computer, but I can't play music. I also can't find the device on the Sound Settings.
I tried with Blueman, but with the same results. I've seen that this problem was solved before, but I can't make it work in mine.
I'm a new Lubuntu user (never used any Linux OS before).
File Manager --> Preferences --> Bluetooth Manager
I can't seem to send a file to my smartphone. I click the bluetooth icon on the task bar, a window comes up showing my smartphone.
Clicked "Pair" to pair my laptop and smartphone.
Once paired, the Send File button is activated, meaning I can already send a file.
Music is a big part of a smartphone’s feature set. We’ve already talked about the best available music streaming services, but sometimes music streaming isn’t an option, whether that’s because you’re dealing with a pesky data cap, you’re somewhere without a reliably fast internet connection, or you would just rather keep your music on your device.
I am a new convert to Android from iPhone and I've started off with a Nexus 4. I have what is probably an obvious question:
When I use a bluetooth audio stereo headset to listen to music, if I press the play/pause button before I go into any app, music from my device starts playing (from the first alphabetically listed track).
I am on 2.3.6 and I am using a Samsung SPH-930BST.
Today, I tried to retrieve my voice mail and I could not hear anything. I tried selecting "speaker" to listen via speakerphone and it will NOT select.
I tried playing music from files on the android and although they looked like they were playing, I could not hear anything through the speaker.
First, here's a quick back story on my smartphone experience: I got my first ever smart phone in 2011 - a 16GB iPhone 4. That's it. I've never had any other smartphone and it's almost time for my upgrade from Verizon.
Rhythmbox actually shows my smartphone on the devices list but it's unable to find any music on it, I installed mtp and mtpfs and also enabled the mtp plugin in Rhythmbox.
I'm using a Jabra cruiser2 bluetooth speakerphone with my gnex. I've been trying to stream audiobooks from my phone to the speaker. After 10-15 minutes, the player stops. This is a consistant problem. I use the Mort audiobook player. I've also tried streaming music to the speaker. For music I usually use PowerAmp, and again, it stops playing after 10-15 minutes.
Hi,
im looking for an app that will let me stream audio directly to my Samsung Galaxy Gio from a MacBook Pro. I know there are several apps for that, but I want to be able to plug in my smartphone into the stereo and not having to touch it anymore. Choosing music, controlling volume,.. would be done from my macbook.
