I got error when I try to restart the nova-compute service on my compute node.
[root@mycompute ~]# service nova-compute restart
Stopping OpenStack Nova Compute Worker: [ OK ]
Starting OpenStack Nova Compute Worker: [FAILED]
I check in the log file /var/log/nova/nova-compute.log but nothing is logged in that file.
Then I try to run the command with nova u
When service is described with both ensure => running and subscribed to config file changes if both conditions fulfil (i.e. it is not running and config file changed) it gets (re)started twice.

I'm trying to install openstack on RHEL 6.2.
I'm using Puppet to install ufdbGuard which requires Squid.
So playing with nova launcher I said ill try nova prime then decided I wouldnt really use it so returned it but wait my nova launcher is still running on nova prime 2.0 and still have all of tge add ons for prime so has this happend to anyone I did get a return code emailed to me so just woundering???
Under what circumstances would ls -lh show a total that is less than the sum of the individual files?
