Ever since updating the software, my phone's connection to the internet (by both Wifi and the data network) has drastically decreased in performance. From when it would take 5-10 seconds to load a page previously, it now takes 15-30 seconds. Videos take a long time to buffer, even using the instant search feature is slow (incredibly irritating when I need to simply check spelling).
Hi all,
I have a problem that I do not know how to investigate more. I am currently running ubuntu 12.04 since last July with no network problems at all, both wireless and LAN. About a week or more ago, my internet connection started to stop and resume randomly. Sometimes the connection also became really slow.
Ive seen a lot of threads and issues regarding the nexus 4 camera issues but I haven't found a solution and I'm wondering if anyone is experiencing the same following issue
When I take a picture on nexus 4 on portrait, some pictures get saved in landscape in gallery. Would this be software bug along with the other issues? It recently started.
When I get off a call that is more than a couple minutes long I get a white screen with the green HTC logo and then it goes to my homescreen and says loading. This only takes 30 seconds or so, but it is annoying. Is anyone else having this problem? Also, once in a while I get a connection issue message when opening the sense email app. It says that I am not
connected.
Thanks for the help...
I have a wired modem connection to ADSL under Ubuntu 10.04. Recently establishing a ppp0 connection to the internet started to take a very long time (minutes). During this time, plog shows lots of "Timeout waiting for PADO packets" and "Unable to complete PPPoE Discovery" errors.
I just recently started using Ubuntu (12.04) since a few weeks ago and noticed that the interface is very slow and sluggish:
On Dash, I have to type the entire app name and wait a few seconds before it shows up in the search box, and a bit later before it displays search result
Opening new files or applications takes also quite long and awkward
Dragging icons or moving app windows around is not
Quick background: I have been having a lot of connection issues with my home network. I finally got my ISP to understand and after them checking some of the problems outside of my home I've gone from 5 timeouts an hour to at most 1.

Last night I ran update manager, and it started to download a whole lot of stuff. OK, done it before, no problem. But because it was taking a long time, I interrupted it, thinking, ah, it'll remember what it downloaded and carry on from there today. Today I also unchecked several non-critical items, and update manager started downloading.
