I've just gotten home and have gone to use Mythtv frontend in the lounge room but I am getting the issue:Your frontend and backend are configured in different timezones. You must correct this mismatch to continueThis has also recently happened on the frontend out the backroom but I haven't had a chance to look at it.
Hi everyone. I having a hard time trying to get the frontend of mythtv in 12.04 to connect to the backend. The frontend continues to restart all the time. How do connect the two ends together? I want to use the backend to record the tv shows and the frontend to watch them. Unfortunately, i can't get into the frontend. The backend is on a 32 bit machine and the frontend is on a x64 box.

Currently, I am running a mythbuntu combined frontend and backend system. The version is 12.04.1 LTS. The desktop is kfce 4.8. The PC is an AMD 64 X2 4400. The mobo is Asus A8V with 2 gigs of RAM.
The second frontend will be an XBMC, which is already running. All devices are on the same network.
My main question is when should you decide to split a combined frontend/backend system?
I have a combined frontend/backend system which I've been running for sometime, I'm happy with how this is working at the moment but I'm keen to (a) make it quieter and (b) reduce the overall cost.
Making the system quieter would require some changes to the PC Case which aren't too difficult to do I just
I'm using Outlook 2010, and our Exchange Administrators have mailboxes set up for many of the meeting rooms available at our facilities. However, it would seem they don't have any Room Lists configured. (I gather this because I do not see the "Show a room list" drop-down menu.
Having trouble with a new mythbuntu install as frontend and backend. I believe I have the backend setup correctly. I've configured a HDHomeRun Prime and successfully scanned for and added channels. However, when I select watch tv on the frontend, the screen only flashes a "please wait" for a split second before returning to the menu.
I'm looking for a log file that shows what programs are running at shutdown and if a program hangs during shutdown.
I have this one program that constantly hangs, and shows up as an unknown program, during shutdown/reboot/log-off. I think there should be a log of the shutdown process, but I have no idea where to find it.
I have come to Crunchbang from Arch and am loving the simplicity of the new openbox frontend :DI have my setup pretty much as i had in Arch Linux except that i cannot seem to hide the output of tty1 on shutdown or reboot.
