Not really sure where to put this thread...
I need to find a simple paint program that can draw a long, anti-aliased line with many curves in it.
I've tried KolourPaint, which is the perfect level of simplicity, but it has neither the spline curve tool to make the line, nor anti-aliasing.
XPaint does the line quite well, and even does arrow heads, which is a nice bonus, but doesn't have anti-alia
When I use the "export" function of Inkscape, Text is rendered with anti-alising, but without subpixel hinting. The Gimp doesn't do it any better.
However, when I view the SVG image with the Image Viewer, the quality of the text is excellent. I have resorted to taking screenshots of Image Viewer before, but of course that doesn't allow for transparency.
I've got a Lenovo Thinkpad x220 and I'm trying to play Minecraft. There's a graphical bug that someone suggested is related to forced anti-aliasing by the Sandy Bridge Intel HD integrated graphics chip.
Is there a way to tell the driver to disable anti-aliasing?
I have spent hours and countless nights trying to fix this issue for this game, if someone can help me out I will be extremely thankful, I love this game and really want to continue playing it but this constant flickering in the trees, grass, walls and shadows makes it difficult to keep playing this game! These videos and screenshots should summarize everything.
