iptables: No chain/target/match by that name

http://stackoverflow.com – I have an embedded ARM system using the 3.2 Linux kernel and running Debian Wheezy. One part of the software tries to run iptables: No chain/target/match by that name. but it's failing with the message iptables: No chain/target/match by that name. Others have fixed the problem by enabling CONFIG_NETFILTER_XT_TARGET_REDIRECT in the kernel config. My kernel doesn't have that option however. The command is working fine on our older Debian 6 systems. Most of the relevant netfilter settings in my kernel config seem to be disabled, see below.
