http://forums.androidcentral.com – HI just made the switch to Android. Trying to get my music from my mac into the Note2. Downloaded Kies for Mac Plugged in my phone but Kies wont recognize it. Mac ver 10.7 I tried using File Transfer too. My issue here is that I copied and pasted the songs but when it displays on my phone they all have just one album cover. Did this on the Kies Air too, same result. Any suggestions for this convert? Poch (HowTos)

Kies sync music to S4 issue 1 week 2 days ago

Just got the S4 and love it. Coming from iphone 4 and itunes. I have had android tablets so I am familiar.

I got all my music converted to mp3 and put on my phone. Downloaded Kies to use as a sync.

When I synced the music on my phone in the way I thought was correct I ended up with two copies of each song on my phone.

After updating with XWLSD 4.1.2 JB Stock ROM, I am unable to connect my phone with KIES.

1. Cable is original supplied with the phone 2. I uninstalled and re-installed KIES 3. It is charging in USB mode 4. Have ran KIES troubleshooting, it reinstalled the drivers, but no result 5.

OK, I decided to give JB a try even though the phone works fine for me now. I am on Mac 10.6.8.

As I had never used Kies, I downloaded that and installed. Right away, I noticed that Android File Transfer didn't work anymore.

I am about at my wits end! IEverytime I open Kies, it says.......Please update latest version of Kies and then update firmware. So, I try to update kies and it fails everytime. It either says that there is a network error, that the process has stopped, that it already has the latest version installed, or it starts and then stops within 5 minutes with only 3% completed.

Galaxy SII, GT-I9100, Android version 4.0.3, not rooted. Windows 7 Enterprise sp1 32 bit.

Until recently when I updated to Kies_2.5.0.12094_28_8 I have had no problems what so ever with my phone or Kies.

(A note, when I plug the phone to my laptop without Kies started, I can browse my phones content.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and I usually download my music from my computer to my phone via Kies. The last time I did this was probably two weeks ago without any issues.

Now, I've managed to upload a set of songs to my phone but for some reason, they're not showing up on my Music playlist.

Hey everyone, I am trying to connect my GS2 on ics to kies via wifi to transfer music. Ever since the update there is no option to connect to kies via wifi. Anyone have any clue as to how to get my phone to connect via wifi to kies?

Any help will be greatly appreciated :confused:

Can anyone assist me with this please?

When I first connected my Note to a PC with a USB cable, I could see and browse the phone with Windows Explorer.

Since installing Kies Air on my PC I can no longer see the phone in the Explorer Tree nor can I connect via USB using Kies.

Kies has automatiocally re-installed USB drivers but this hasn't helped.
