I was reading a book that stated that the MAC address (physical address) would change every hop but the IP address (logical address) would remain same in the image. Please help me understand it. Thanks
I have a series of text files that each contain the string "Address" twice in different parts of the file, and later the string "Subscriber Address", making for three total appearances of "Address". Using sed, I'd like to harvest data immediately following the first instance of "Address" in each file while ignoring the rest.
I want to get the real IP address of the client when I am behind Amazon Elastic Load Balancer (ELB). I know that ELB populates "X-Forwarded-For" header with the original client IP address. My problems is as follows:
1) Browsing my site from the EC2 instance, I get the IP address of the EC2 machine (elastic IP address)
2) Now I browse the site from my own laptop computer and get my IP address.
I know os will load elf in physical memory. When execute jmp elf-address,system will check tlb and convert the elf-address to physical address. I am confused that elf-address does not have segment num and page num? How os convert elf-address to what MMU need.
