I would like to know wheather there is any command which will calculate DISK IOPS, as iostat command will display IO wait. when iowait needs attention?
We are trying to get IOPS on Centos 5.10 Servers running oracle Database. When we try using sar -b we get tps along with rtps and wtps. When we compare this with iostat -x output it is totally different. iostat -x gives disk wise r/s and w/s and its total should match sar -b figures but they are not matching. Does any one has idea about why these two outputs are different and how to read them?
# iotop -a
