Linux Mint, in collaboration with CompuLab, is proud to announce today, July 8th, the immediate availability for purchase of a mini PC called mintBox.
mintBox is powered by a custom version of Linux Mint 12 with MATE 1.2 desktop environment and the XBMC media center. Linux Mint 13 Cinnamon is also supported, with full 3D desktop effects.

The decision was taken not to change the theme or the icons in Linux Mint 9 Isadora, making it look similar to the previously released Linux Mint 7 Gloria and Linux Mint 8 Helena.
Linux Mint 11 – coming up May 2011
I received many emails and questions about Linux Mint 11, whether it was coming with Unity or Gnome 3, when it was going to come out and what should be expected from it… so, here’s a bit of information about our upcoming release.

I’d like to thank everybody for the feedback given on the artwork. I had to close the comments section as we were getting too many of them, but I got the opportunity to read most of them and we’re now in a position to make a decision. I think we’ll either go for Fresh or we’ll keep the same artwork as what was in Linux Mint 7.
