National broadband company, Internode, has taken its first terabyte ADSL2+ plan to the market today with a launch-day sweetener of $30 off the originally announced price, at the same as delivering large data boosts for most of its other broadband plans.
Internode has becomes Australia's first ISP to launch IPv6 as a standard service. It is available on an opt-in basis to both Internode's ADSL2+ and NBN customers, following a 20-month public trial.

iiNet-owned broadband provider, Internode, has today started offering its “best-selling” Easy Broadband ADSL2+ services from an extra 240 telephone exchanges throughout Australia that contain iiNet DSLAM equipment.
Internode has reduced by $10 the monthly fee for its Easy Naked broadband plan and has extended coverage. It has also revived an ADSL2+ resale agreement with Optus.
With fierce competition in the broadband market, Internode has initiated a major overhaul of its broadband plans, introducing what it claims is its first truly unlimited quota business ADSL2+ plans with a combination of boosted data quotas and reduced prices.
iiNet subsidiary, Internode has revised its ADSL2+ plans for its Easy Broadband, Easy Naked and Easy Bundle services to reduce prices, increase data quotas align data quotes with those of its NBN plans.
ISPs Internode and iPrimus have announced that they have connected their first customers to the National Broadband Network.
