So here's what happened. Someone changed the key for the office WiFi router, and I don't have physical access to the router. Now all I know is that the key uses WPA2. I could of course bring in my personal laptop, but it's pretty heavy and I'd rather be able to do everything on my phone.
Is it possible to get Aircrack, Aircrack-ng or an app that lets you crack WiFi keys on Android?
Hi everyone,
This is my first post, so thanks in advance for any help! I'll try to reciprocate down the road when I get more experience!
I'm having trouble accessing my home wireless network through ubuntu - it was working fine last night, but now it inexplicably stopped working. I can connect to the router fine, but not to the internet.
Hi, I'm relatively new to Linux and a bit embarassed to have to post what is possibly a really simple problem. I tried to setup a VPN connection to anonine using pptp, after trying to connect and failing I deleted the vpn connection. This seems to have interfered with my normal setup in that I no longer have access to the internet.
I have had my Linux box connected to the internet through a windows computer by wiring them together with a cat5 cable then the windows is connected wirelessly to a router. This setup has worked since I got the Linux bot but just yesterday stopped working.
Hey guys,
I'm having a very weird problem with my Ubuntu 10.10 Beta. The internet was functioning properly when all of a sudden, my two browsers (Chrome and firefox) stopped connecting to the internet. After numerous tries to connect, I get internet access for around 10 seconds, and then it just stops again.
I believe i have tried every trick in the book !

I have a Dynex DX-WGRTR v1000 router which I use hardwired without the wireless turned on. Since my 12.04 clean install I have had internet since but recently when I went to access the router itself, I can't access it nor can I ping it. The access IP address for the router is 192.168.2.1 which was set by the manufacturer.
Hi guys,
Thanks in advance for reading this. My laptop(12.04) is wirelessly connected to the internet via a TP-LINK WR841N router.
I sometimes lose connectivity when running Transmission. When it happens, I can still access the LAN, but unable to ping external domain names or IP addresses.
This is a long ongoing problem. Maybe someone has an idea. I have an ordinary dsl router with wlan at home. I cannot use the wlan under Linux. nm says I am connected (see screenshot), but there is no internet access. I have never been able to connect to the internet using the wifi at home under Linux. Works fine under Windows, but I hardly ever use Win. Recently I got an Android phone.
