I need an easy to use lightweight distro. I basically want to use the machine for C programming, e-mail, web browsing and watching flash videos (youtube etc...)
I am running linut mint 9 LXDE on it now. The only problem is that when I try to watch flash videos, the CPU usage becomes 100% and some videos don't even play properly.
Hello!

Flash videos (such as Youtube) do not work despite having installed the correct flash plugins.
Who likes to watch stream videos inside the flash videoplayer? Not me.That's how I got rid of it.First of all you have to install the flashblock plugin in your browser (there's a version for chromium and firefox). Other browsers, like xxxterm can be configured to obtain the same result.
So for awhile now when I try to play youtube videos in full screen, it's choppy and lagged. Impossible to watch.
I have read around, and none of the solutions fix my problem, most are windows based. The one where you go into the plugins settings and disable one of the flash, well I only have one flash available.
Can't find anymore information.

At this point if I manually move the video progress slider to an advance time data transfer happens and the video starts pl
