https://bbs.archlinux.org – Exactly what it says on the tin.I've been encountering this error lately, especially when I try to run stuff with Wine. Doesn't matter if it's older stuff (RPG Maker games) or newer (World of Warcraft) ... the programs just don't start and Wine throws this error message at me.ranmaru@kodama: ~/Wine/RPGMaker/ % wine RPG_RT.exe intel_do_flush_locked failed: Input/output errorSearching around the internet I narrowed it down to a video driver problem, but there doesn't seem to be a fix for it. The people on the Wine mailing list also seem to be clueless. Someone suggested (HowTos)

Hi all,

Been unsuccessful in trying to install wine on my 11.3 KDE4 x86_64 system, from the Emulators:Wine/openSUSE_11.3 repo.

This is what my zypper throws up:

Code: Installing: wine-32bit-1.2-4.1 [error]

This problem seems to be opposite of any other wine sound problems, sound works beautifully in World of Warcraft under wine, but it remove all audio output for other programs such as Mangler and the system sound test program. I have tried starting programs before and after WoW to see if that will make the audio work but that doesn't help, I'm all out of ideas.

Hey Guys and Girls,

I am tying to install World of Warcraft on Ubuntu 12.04 with Wine.

When I access the cd/dvd drive and right click the exe. file on the cd and choose to install with Wine I get a error stating the Wine installer won't launch. Have any idea of what to do?

Photoshop CS2 is right there on the main Wine AppDB page as a Platinum-level application that should "just work". It was the big bragging piece when Wine 1.0 was released. But I am unable to install Photoshop CS2 in openSUSE 11.2.

I wanna wine a windows .exe program. first time i wine it ,i get an error message :"mfc42.dll cant be found" then i install it with winetricks i wine it again, this time i get

"fixme:toolhelp:CreateToolhelp32Snapshot Unimplemented: heap list snapshot"

I just dont know what it means , can anybody help ?

I install wine and add some winetricks stuff, so when I do

wine /path/l2.exe

I see next error

Can somebody tell me what can i do to fix this problem.

Ok I am a new wine user so bare with me guys, I have a windows PC that is sharing files to my linux machine. I can see the stuff that I shared from my network directory but In wine I want to be able to use those exe's that are on the share with Wine. Theres on option in Wine to map network drives but Im not entirely too clear on how to go about using that. Someone please help.

I'm trying to get wine to work for Hawken. I used winetricks and installed all the necessary components. Wine works fine with other games I have installed but when I try to run Hawken it crashes while loading with the following error:

I'm new to Ubuntu so I have no idea how to fix this.
