This is the first time I have ever had issues with Ubuntu whether it be picking up drivers from the get go or running fixes. There are two, to me crucial drivers not working. External Audio and Wireless. Ubuntu Studio 10.10 (Maverick)

hi i had windows 8 and it crashed, so i decided that i would install Ubuntu to replace it. i installed 12.10 and my wireless card (for wifi and wimax) will not connect to any network. my computer us an asus u56-e with a Intel centrino wireless-n 6150 wifi wimax card.
Has anyone ever tried to use a WiMax(4g) USB device with openSuse? I'm just curious and was thinking about getting the U300 device that Sprint and Clear are now selling to poeple in the Dallas area. Its a 3g CDMA/4g WiMax combo.
