At the beginning of September Intel launched the Intel Core i7 4960X processor as the long-awaited upgrade for their LGA-2011 platform. The Core i7 4960X is not Haswell-based but an Ivy Bridge Extreme Edition processor for maintaining socket compatibility and being derived from the Ivy Bridge Xeon.
Intel launched LGA 2011Extreme platform at the end of 2011.
It?s different position as annual renewed LGA 1155 or LGA 1150.
LGA 2011 CPU refresh cycle is longer and having simple product line.
CPU usually has 3 models.
Finally, the most awaiting MacBook Pro with the most powerful processor is rolled out. Here is the new MacBook Pro Winter 2011. Apple has been updated the processor for their MacBook Pro notebook series.

I'm having some trouble with Ubuntu on a newly built computer using Sandy Bridge. The motherboard is an Asus P8H67-M Evo (Intel H67 chipset), processor is i5-2500k.
