Intel HD graphics with opensuse is there a way?

http://forums.opensuse.org – Hi, i recently got an Asus laptop with intel core i3-350m and hence the integrated (on cpu) intel graphics. it was a real nightmare for me to even install opensuse 11.2 as i would get the black screen when X is about to start, until i managed to set the video driver to vesa. the thing is, vesa is so slow especially that i need graphics hardware acceleration in my work. so i was wondering if there's a way to get the intel video working on that chip with opensuse?: - update the xorg intel video driver? - update to the latest kernel? - switch to factory? - any other tweaking..? i really don't want to switch to another distribution as i'v been using suse since 9.x thank in advance!
