I'm using Ubuntu 14.04. The original Firefox integrate with Unity perfectly. I want to use Palemoon, but unfortunately, it has no integration with unity/global menu. I tried to look at the default plugin/add-ons on Firefox, but the "Unity Integration" add-on description is just for web apps and not global menu.
I'm currently running 13.37 and the newest package of firefox out in the patches directory is 17.0. I wonder if it is possible to create a Slackware installation package of current version of Firefox (25.0).
Right now, I simply extract the tar.bz2 file that I downloaded from the firefox website and run the firefox binary inside the extracted package.
When I open Firefox and visit any of the webapp enabled webpages I have installed, I get a launcher icon for them. The same does not appear to be when I use for example Google Chrome. Do webapps only work for Firefox?
Today Firefox announced that they are currently working on an Android launcher. While they didn’t really reveal too much on its features, they did give us a screen shot to give us a small sample of what it looks like. According to the Firefox team:
Firefox Launcher for Android makes it easy to discover the content you want in any moment and is optimized for the way you use your phone.
