Long time lurker, rarely if ever post. I've always wanted to give Linux a shot in the past but never had the knowledge. Currently, I'm a networking student and finally have a course focused on CentOS. It is a blast and I'm finding that the more I work with it, the more I want to learn about it. Up until now, I've had CentOS running in a virtualbox, which is fine for doing labs and learning.
I have a new used ML350 server and there is something strange with the Smart Array Controller, sometimes it show at POST (message with F8 possibility to configure) and sometimes not. Can't do any firmware update when not showed, and the last time I started the firmware has hanged.
I have a ML350 G6 with two array controllers : P410 and P410i. I have updated all possibile firmware on this server. I have 5 x Seagate Savvio 10K SAS drives. I am testing the drives with HP Insight Diagnostics.
