I've taken backup of softwares from my previous installation via the dpkg-repack. All the packages are stored in a folder. I want to install some specific packages from it but don't know the dependencies. All the dependencies are also backed up.
There's any way to install Apache2 along with mysql and php5 in a Suse Enterprise Desktop 11 without getting in all the mess of installing all the dependencies? I have located Apache2 in a rpmfind mirror but it could pass a year if I need to download all the dependencies in rpm.
I've been trying to install some software in SuSE Enterprise (SLES 11 SP 2 64 bits), and keep getting errors about missing dependencies. In the past, I could work around them (in an Ubuntu system) by installing python-devel, but I couldn't find it in SLES repository.
