yes, this should be fixed in next updates or rebuilds, fortunatelly kde-workspace provides kdebase-workspace so there will be not problem, and python provides python2 so python2 is the way to work now, in order to make the switch to python3 easier.
As long as kdebase-workspace needs to be patched, the only way to install the package would be through aur.

What would cause missing dependencies? I thought the whole idea of the package manager is that if you try to install a package (through the package manager) it should know about all of the dependencies and offer to install them?
