I have been trying to install gimp 2.7.5 for a few days now but keep getting this message:

Apparently nothing can simply "Come easy" on Ubuntu. So I try installing GIMP and here is what it says. I'll need a very noob friendly way to fix this. Anyone know anything?

I am receiving this error message when installing GIMP.

I am trying to install OpenCV on Ubuntu 10.10 to use it with python.

The problem that I am facing is related to installing gtk2.0-dev.

I always get the following error

hi... m on ubuntu 11.10. i want to install gimp on my desktop. i used Ubuntu Software Centre. But this messsage occurs:

''This error could be caused by required additional software packages which are missing or not installable.

How do i fix this? I also did sudo apt-get -f install but same error
