http://forum.xda-developers.com – Long story short, i have had the Droid razr for about a month and as soon I got the device, I flashed over the Black Widow ICS rom. Everything worked fine and smoothly but then a noticed a problem and hopefully you guys can help me. There are updates for various Google Apps (Gapps) that i installed when flashing over the ROM. If I look at my apps within the Google Market as a whole, under the Installed tab, nothing needs updating. But for instance, if i click on Gmail, theres a update for it. So first i was like cool, Ill try to download it. Downloads fine when it tries to Update, (HowTos)

I was using the first "official" JB leak (the Polish one, I don't remember which one it was). I've being used it for a while, with no problems.

Yesterday, I saw that Faryabb had posted a new version of the GAPPs.

It says "There is no text on this page". Nobody else seems to say anything about this problem.

I am SICK AND TIRED OF NOT being able to properly use a ROM because they linked the gapps to the CM wiki. So, I was wondering.

I recently updated to CM10.1 up from CM10 and installed the new gapps. Lately I'd been noticing a major decrease in my battery life, so I checked my running apps and noticed maps and google services were running twice. I'm assuming this means I have two sets of gapps installed.

My question is: Is it possible to just remove the old set of gapps?

Hi all, i installed this firmware, i wiped cache, i wiped data, and first installed the firmware, and after that i installed gapps, but i still don't have Google Play or Gmail or stuff like that, i also tried multiple version's of Gapps, but i still can't get it done, also i can't login with my Google account somewhere.

I have Titanium Backup PRO and it works fine but is a pain.

When I say its a pain, its because when I flash new roms multiple roms per day, I always need to install the gapps and then go to the market and download the Titanium Backup app and the licence for the Titanium Backup PRO to work with a single click restore. Then I must wait till all apps are restored and then reboot.

How can I find out which version of gapps (google apps) I have installed on my galaxy nexus? I deleted the archive both from my computer and my phone and I forgot which version I downloaded.

Always do a clean install unless updating the same Rom. Factory reset Format System Flash MIUI Restart Phone Boot into recovery Flash GApps 4.1.2 (Do not flash Gapps immediately after flashing the rom)

I recently purchase a nabi 2, followed post instructions " Nabi 2 Root and Gapps Install ".

I used option 1) worked until Team Win Recovery loaded, error can't find gapps. I went install found gapps.zip in /sdcard ran it, worked.

Google CONTACTS does NOT sync on NS4G w/CM10 nightly & Matr1x 23. However, gmail, Calender do sync. This has been going on for about 2-3wks so it is not a specific nightly. I believe I was using the lastest Gapps released 20120726 I just installed a newer version gapps-jb-aromainstaller-20121003-r6-signed.zip. However ran into same issue.
